What is "Intelligence?"
🔑
Intelligence is knowing how to use what one has to enjoy and appreciate life and to see oneself in others.
🔑 This definition is simple, but not simplistic. As one of the key principles in the Educational Design applied here, it transcends and includes the notion of "multiple intelligences," itself a welcome development in education. It allows teachers and learners to be who they really are, to fully and wholeheartedly participate, cooperate and co-create in the educational process.
This is the intelligence that can empower us to remember our humanity, to defend ourselves against and transcend the confusion, finger-pointing, isolation, misinformation, doubts, fears and greed that currently prevail in this world.
Remember your humanity and forget the rest. — Bertrand Russell and Albert Einstein in the Russell-Einstein Manifesto.
